What We Do

The Lincoln County Cultural Coalition's role shall be to set policy for the organization, administer funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust and other sources, appoint a fiscal agent, and lead the community in implementing the County Cultural Plan. The Coalition is responsible for measuring progress of the County Cultural Plan through the use of appropriate benchmarks ensuring that Arts, Heritage and Humanities are all represented. It shall ensure that the County Cultural Plan is implemented in a way that fairly encourages countrywide participation in cultural activities.

Membership

There shall not be more than 21 members approved by a committee composed of the Executive Director of the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts, the Executive Director of the Lincoln County Historical Society, and representative of the Lincoln County School District, a representative of one of the libraries in the county and an at–large member — the latter to be chosen by the Coalition. Recruiting of new members shall take place on an ongoing basis.
