Having tried most all mediums, I work in oils; I find the workability and viscosity of oil to my liking. Serious painting for me began at Benson High School in Portland where I graduated in 1962 as the school’s first art major. My career experience encompassed the US Air Force; a stint in college; and as partner/owner designer of accessories for the Porsche & Volkswagen auto.
After winning several Scholastic Art Awards including local, regional and national, I pursued and was accepted in many solo and group art shows. A select number includes: The Fry Museum; New King’s Road Gallery, London, England; Phippen Museum of Art; Butler Institute of American Art; Tucson Art Museum; and most recently in October 2009, a solo show at the National Arts Club, NYC, NY.
I have taught workshops and classes intermittently throughout these years nationally and in Oregon.
Open Thursday – Sunday Noon to 4:00pm and for special art shows and events.

From Corvallis, take Hwy. 20 West to Toledo Exit, following Historic Yaquina River Museum of Art signage; turn left on NE Alder Street. Museum is on the right in middle of the block and parking is on the street.
From Newport, take Hwy. 20 East 7 miles to Toledo Exit following Historic Yaquina River Museum of Art signs 1 1/2 miles; turn right on NE Alder Street to the middle of the block and parking is on the street.
