The primary mission of the Yaquina River Museum of Art is the creation and preservation of an exhibition environment in which to demonstrate the power of art to inspire, educate and enrich our lives, focusing on works of art generated by and about the land and people of the Yaquina River watershed region.

The museum is a 501©(3) nonprofit corporation which relys on donations to provide art education programs in our local area. In addition to rotating exhibits by area artists the museum offers gently used art books and photo art cards for sale in the museum gift store. Contributing to the Engraved in Stone program is an opportunity to commemorate an event or loved one with a brick in the Legacy Arts Terrace and to benefit art education programs.

You are invited to visit the Vicarage House Museum by appointment; the School House exhibit and office space is open Friday afternoons and for special art shows and events. The museum participates and sponsors an artist during Toledo’s Annual Labor Day Art Walk the first weekend of September.
