Since I was old enough to hold a crayon, I have been involved in some type of art. I have found that creating is as necessary to me as breathing. Being a lifelong resident of Oregon, I am forever surrounded by inspiration. I am guided by my love of color, the arts, nature and faith in my emotional instinct to produce unique glass art.
I have no agenda. There are no hidden messages or profound meanings in my work. When I see something beautiful, I try to abstractly portray it for others to enjoy.
I adore working with tempered glass. It lends wonderful depth and a crystalline look to my art. Pairing stained glass with tempered is an powerfully beautiful combination that has become so evident in my style. Finally, by adding a wonderful Italian glass called millefiori, a bit of whimsy stamps my name onto each piece I do.
I have shown my work at Gallery Briseno and was an artist in residence for 1 year at Skybound Art Gallery in Toledo, Oregon.
She is currently showing some of her work at SunRose Gallery in Seaside, Oregon.
