The Sitka Center for Art and Ecology enhances the relationship between Art, Nature and Humanity. We are a creative community that cares about Artists and cares about Nature. We offer three different programs. In the summer we have a workshop program that features over 100 workshops taught by 85 artists across a range of disciplines: visual art, writing, and music. In the Winter we offer artist residencies from 2 to 14 weeks. Residencies are juried. We also host an annual art invitational where we invite 100 artists to display work in Portland in a salon style sale.
